Application Need

During the integration of the heating elements in automotive car seats, tests are performed to measure the integrity of the heating elements and identify any breaks/cold spots during production stage.

Benefits to the customer
  • Using the Area of Interest (AOI's) feature in the ThemoView software, allows you to identify hot and cold spots
  • Set multiple AOI’s to continuously monitor temperatures of heating elements
  • Full integration of the software to the process system to set automatic alarming set points if these points are exceeded
Infrared Temperature Solutions
  • Independent emissivity for each Area of Interest (AOI) and user-configurable setup of temperature conditions to trigger events or alarms, which can interface to discrete input/output (I/O) devices.
  • ThermoView TV40 software designed to interface with process control equipment, receiving synchronization inputs and providing pass/fail logic outputs; perform product inspections, temperature alarming and monitoring; and enable process temperature archiving.
